VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Art
Art volunteers will help create magic onsite by assisting in the coordination and execution of set-up and tear-down. This will include setting up displays, structure walls, and aiding in creating beautiful installations. Some heavy lifting, using construction and hand tools, and ability to follow detailed instructions is required. If you love seeing an artistic visions come to life this is the team for you!
Artist Relations
Hospitality experience, corresponding valid industry certificates, and references are required for all Artist Relations positions due to the nature of the work.
Artist HQ
Artist HQ volunteers are often the first point of contact for artists when they arrive onsite. You set the tone for a welcoming and supportive experience. This role includes checking artists in, sharing information, and offering a shaded space to rest, recharge devices, and connect throughout the day. Responsibilities include managing artist camping and paying special attention to pass verification for all vehicles entering the area as it is essential in upholding safety and trust.
Hosts
Artist Hosts help ensure artists feel cared for and supported off stage by preparing and maintaining spaces accessed pre and post set, spaces such as green rooms or Artist HQ. This role centers around awareness, hospitality, and anticipating needs to create a comfortable, organized, and positive environment. Hosts play a key part in making each artist’s experience feel thoughtful, calm, and memorable.
Runners
Runners support Hosts by coordinating and delivering items needed to set up and maintain artist spaces. This fast-paced, active role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy staying on the move, can handle some lifting, and thrive on teamwork and clear communication.
Stage Ambassador
Stage Ambassadors support both performers and audiences by helping maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming stage environment. This role centers on awareness, communication, and community presence near the heart of the festival’s music.
Camp Clarity
Camp Clarity is a calm, compassionate space designed to support festival-goers who are in active recovery. Volunteers help uphold a peaceful environment rooted in empathy, consent, and non-judgment, offering presence and care to those who need a moment away from the noise.
The only requirement for membership is a personal desire to stop drinking or using. There are no dues or fees, and participation is always voluntary. We are not affiliated with any religion, political group, organization, or institution, and we do not engage in controversy or take positions on outside issues. Our primary purpose is to support one another in sobriety, while respecting that each person’s relationship with substances is their own choice.
Host
As a Camp Clarity Host, you are a welcoming presence for guests entering the space. Your role includes greeting campers, keeping track of sign-ins, reviewing camp guidelines, and offering gentle orientation to help everyone feel safe, informed, and supported within Camp Clarity.
Recovery Meeting Chairperson
The Recovery Meeting Chairperson helps create and hold a supportive, inclusive meeting space. This role involves arriving early to set up, facilitating the recovery meeting at the scheduled time, and assisting the Camp Clarity Host throughout the day to support the overall care of the camp.
Green Team
Green Team volunteers support the festival’s commitment to environmental stewardship and collective care for the land. Green Team volunteers are leaders in helping attendees, artists, and crew to Leave No Trace, one of our founding principles. It is expected to represent Electric Loves’ principles of environmental accountability and sustainability. We ask that you be an ambassador of the 8 Founding Principles and educate others on how to leave the land as we found it.
Front Gate
Front Gate volunteers are often the first friendly faces attendees see when arriving at the festival. Those that would like to work with this team would be required to provide references due to the nature of the work.Front Gate volunteers are required to fill several roles onsite. This role involves welcoming guests, hard copy ticket scanning, will-call verification, volunteer, artist, vendor and merchant check-ins, and answering general questions. This role is vital in setting the tone for a safe, inclusive, FUN and community-minded festival experience.
Kitchen
Food Safe Level 1 and/or Level 2 and references are required due to the nature of the work.
Kitchen volunteers assist the Chef and their team with many aspects of meal preparation and delivery. From organizing the kitchen supplies and food preparation to dispatching meals throughout the site along various teams. Your responsibilities would include washing, peeling and cutting fruits, vegetables, and preparing meat; mixing ingredients; and final presentation of meals. The environment is fast paced and high volume, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Merchandise Booth
Merchandise volunteers help connect the community with festival and artist goods by setting up, maintaining, and taking down merchandise displays each day. This role includes handling cash, tracking inventory, providing friendly service and working closely with a trusted team to support the festival and its artists. Due to the responsibility involved, volunteers interested in this role will be asked to provide references.
Parking & Traffic Control
Parking & Traffic Control volunteers help ensure everyone arrives and departs safely and smoothly. Parking volunteers are responsible for the direction and placement of vehicles into camping spots for attendees as they enter the festival. If you love making a positive first impression, and can maintain an outgoing and friendly attitude while enjoying time in the sun, this is an excellent team to be a part of. Through clear communication and calm guidance, this role supports safety, accessibility, and patience as part of the overall festival experience.
Production
Production volunteers work behind the scenes to help build, maintain, and restore the festival space. By assisting with setup, teardown, and logistics, this role plays a vital part in turning a shared vision into a living, breathing community event.
If you’re organized, energetic, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the Production team is a great place to plug in. While experience with construction or hand tools is an asset, it’s not required — what matters most is a willingness to help, communicate, and support the collective effort that brings the festival together.Pre-Show
This position requires volunteers to be onsite prior to show time. Your duty is to help bring the festival to life by assisting all departments with their set up needs. You will be asked to keep a record of outgoing materials and stock, organize the production tent, and assist with day time deliveries.
Pre-Show (Production)
Pre-Show volunteers arrive onsite ahead of the festival to help bring the vision to life. This role supports all departments with setup needs, including organizing the production tent, tracking outgoing materials and stock, and assisting with daytime deliveries. It’s hands-on, dynamic work that helps set the foundation for a smooth and successful event.
Show Time and Up & Atoms
The Show Time and Up and Atoms crew is the backbone of the festival while it’s in motion. Volunteers in this role assist all departments with ongoing production needs throughout the event, offering flexibility, problem-solving, and support wherever it’s needed most. This role is rooted in teamwork, responsiveness, and keeping the festival running strong around the clock.
Post Show
Post-Show volunteers help care for the festival space as it transitions back to its original state. This role includes tearing down structures, assisting departments with production returns, collecting and recording inventory, returning stock, supporting delivery pickups, and helping with general cleanup. It’s an essential part of closing the loop and honoring the land, the gear, and the community that made the festival possible.
Harm Reduction
Ambassadors, Rovers, and Infobooth
Harm Reduction comes in many forms at Electric Love. You are our eyes, ears, and voice within the festival to observe and educate. Harm Reduction works to ensure that not only are our guests happy on the dance floor but all over the festival grounds and equipped with knowledge. As a part of our many faceted Harm Reduction team, you embody the cultural and the vibes that festival life has to offer.

VOLUNTEER HQ
Volunteer HQ is the hub of connection and support for the volunteer community. Volunteers in this role help with check-ins, questions, and coordination, ensuring everyone feels informed, valued, and supported in their contribution.
first aid
First Aid volunteers provide compassionate medical support for minor injuries and health concerns. This role requires appropriate training and focuses on safety, calm response, and care for the well-being of the entire community.
SECURITY
Security volunteers help uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive festival environment. Through presence, communication, and de-escalation, this role supports community safety while prioritizing dignity, consent, and care for all.
